Standard 30-day window
Online orders: 30 days from delivery. Store purchases: 30 days from the purchase date. lululemon states its returns process is free for eligible returns. Refunds go back to the original card, to a lululemon gift card, or as local law requires. If lululemon chooses to accept a return beyond 30 days, it says the refund goes on a gift card.
Returns must be made in the same country where you bought the item, and every return is inspected — inspection can lead to a rejected return.
2026 holiday return window

Shoes: you can test them
Footwear is the one category where wear is allowed. lululemon says if you’ve tested your shoes and they aren’t working out, you can get a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the original purchase date. Shoes must come back in the box with proof of purchase — keep the box until you’re sure.
How to return to lululemon
- Online orders: start the return online and ship it, or bring it to a lululemon store.
- Store purchases: return in a store, or contact lululemon to set up an online return.
- Exchanges: only in a store.
- Outlets: lululemon outlet stores can’t process returns — go to a regular store.
Proof of purchase and ID
lululemon accepts a packing slip, paper or online receipt, delivery confirmation email, or (for members) profile purchase history. If you can’t provide proof — or it can’t be verified — lululemon may ask for a government photo ID, and refunds go to a gift card or as required by law. lululemon says this data goes to a third-party return verification system, so excessive returns can get future returns refused.
Photograph the receipt the day you buy — thermal paper fades. Save order and shipping emails in one folder, and write the return-by date on the bag or box. If you paid with a card that offers return protection, keep the statement line too.
